Full Travel Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted by our friendly and experienced guide who will transfer you to your accommodation for the night. Depending on your time of arrival, you may have the opportunity to explore the charming town of Entebbe and take in the beautiful views of Lake Victoria.

Day 2: Entebbe to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, we will depart for Kibale Forest National Park, a journey that will take us through the scenic countryside of Uganda. Upon arrival, you will check in to your accommodation and have some time to relax before embarking on an evening nature walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, where you will have the chance to spot a variety of bird species and other wildlife.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Habituation Experience
Today is the day you have been waiting for – the chimpanzee habituation experience. This full-day adventure will give you the opportunity to spend an entire day with a group of chimpanzees as they go about their daily activities. This immersive experience will provide you with a deeper understanding of these incredible primates and their natural habitat.

Day 4: Kibale Forest to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, we will make our way to Queen Elizabeth National Park, stopping along the way to take in the breathtaking views of the Rwenzori Mountains and the crater lakes. Upon arrival at the park, you will check in to your accommodation and have some time to relax before heading out for an evening game drive, where you will have the chance to spot elephants, lions, buffaloes, and a variety of other wildlife.

Day 5: Game Drive and Boat Safari
Today, you will embark on an early morning game drive through the Kasenyi plains and Ishasha sector of the park, where you will have the opportunity to spot a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, hyenas, and more. In the afternoon, you will take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, where you will have the chance to see hippos, crocodiles, and a plethora of bird species.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After breakfast, we will depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to half of the world's remaining mountain gorilla population. The journey will take us through the stunningly beautiful landscapes of western Uganda, and upon arrival at Bwindi, you will check in to your accommodation and have some time to relax before embarking on an evening nature walk in the surrounding area.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking
Today is the day you have been eagerly anticipating – gorilla trekking. After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing before setting off into the forest in search of these magnificent creatures. The trek can be challenging at times, but the reward of coming face to face with a family of mountain gorillas in their natural habitat is truly unparalleled.

Day 8: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
After breakfast, we will make our way to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, where you will have the opportunity to embark on a golden monkey trek. This endangered species is only found in the Virunga Massif and seeing them in their natural habitat is a truly special experience.

Day 9: Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
Today, you will have the option to either embark on another golden monkey trek or take part in one of the many other activities available in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, such as bird watching, nature walks, or visiting the Batwa pygmy community to learn about their traditional way of life.

Day 10: Departure
After breakfast, we will transfer you back to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your unforgettable primate safari in Uganda.
