It takes 7-6 hours to drive, with a lunch stop at Fort Portal. Proceed to see the crater lakes. After that, drive to your accommodation and check in. Have breakfast early and then transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing on endangered chimpanzees before entering the forest under the guidance of a park ranger, carrying your tracking gear, packed water, and snacks. This walk lasts an entire day. When you find the primates, you will spend an hour watching them, researching their behavior, and taking photographs. Later that afternoon, take a 2–3hour nature walk to Bigodi wetland to see the various birds and primates. The area is teeming with butterflies, plants, animals, and, especially, birds. Birders will be particularly interested in spectacular species such as the Great Blue Turaco and the uncommon Papyrus Gonolek. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge mentioned above.

The Ngorongoro Crater contains a diverse range of wildlife, including herds of wildebeest (in January, February, and March), zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and enormous African elephants.
