Day One: Arrival in Kigali

Upon arrival in Kigali, your driver will transport you to your accommodation, where you will be briefed on your whole 7-day Rwanda safari itinerary

Day 2: Transfer to Akagera National Park

After breakfast, transfer to Akagera National Park. Upon arrival, check in for lunch before embarking on an evening boat trip on Lake Ihema to see a variety of water animals such as hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species. Day 3: Morning game drive, then transfer to Volcanoes

After breakfast, go on a morning wildlife drive where you may see animals grazing. Return to the resort for lunch; after lunch, check out and transfer to Volcanoes National Park. When you arrive at the park, check into your lodge and relax before the next day's supper and overnight stay. Accommodation options include the luxury Mountain Gorilla View Lodge, the mid-range Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge, and the budget-friendly Muhabura Hotel.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking

Have breakfast and then proceed to the park headquarters for gorilla trekking briefings. Following the briefing, you will travel to the jungle to confront the huge apes. Gorilla trekking takes unexpected time since mountain gorillas roam in different directions in quest of food; once you track the gigantic apes, you have only one hour with them. Day 5: Golden monkey tracking and transfer to Nyungwe

Day 6: Chimpanzee trekking at Nyungwe National Park

Following breakfast, you will proceed to the park headquarters for a chimp tracking briefing. You next start chimp tracking, looking for energetic and playful primates in the Nyungwe forest. After the exciting adventure, spend one hour with them before returning to the lodge for lunch, supper, and overnight

Day 7: Return to Kigali for the city tour

After breakfast, depart for Kigali. Once in Kigali, you will begin on a Kigali city tour, visiting sights like as the Genocide Memorial Site, the Inema Art Center, Kimironko Market, and the Hotel des Mille Collines, among others.
