Full Travel Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania
Upon arrival in Tanzania, hikers will be greeted by our experienced guides and transferred to the town of Moshi, located at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Here, you will have a chance to rest and prepare for the upcoming trek. Our team will conduct a thorough briefing to ensure that all hikers are well-prepared for the journey ahead.

Day 2: Machame Gate to Machame Camp
The adventure begins with a scenic drive to the Machame Gate, where hikers will complete the necessary registration formalities before commencing the trek. The trail winds through dense rainforest, offering glimpses of exotic wildlife and bird species. After approximately 5-7 hours of hiking, we will reach Machame Camp, our first overnight stop.

Day 3: Machame Camp to Shira Camp
Leaving the rainforest behind, the trail ascends into the heath and moorland zone, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Hikers will pass through the picturesque valley of the Shira Plateau before reaching Shira Camp, where they will spend the night.

Day 4: Shira Camp to Barranco Camp
Today's trek takes hikers through the rocky terrain of the Lava Tower, providing a challenging yet rewarding experience. As we descend into the Barranco Valley, hikers will be treated to breathtaking views of the imposing Barranco Wall. The day concludes at Barranco Camp, nestled beneath the towering cliffs of the Barranco Wall.

Day 5: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
The trail leads hikers up the Barranco Wall, a thrilling scramble that rewards with stunning vistas of the surrounding landscape. Continuing onwards, hikers will traverse across alpine desert terrain before reaching Karanga Camp, where they will spend the night.

Day 6: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
As hikers ascend further towards the summit, the landscape becomes increasingly barren and otherworldly. The trail leads to Barafu Camp, situated at an elevation of approximately 4,600 meters. Here, hikers will rest and prepare for the final push to the summit.

Day 7: Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp
The most challenging yet rewarding day of the trek begins in the early hours of the morning, as hikers embark on the final ascent to Uhuru Peak, the highest point on Mount Kilimanjaro. The trail winds its way up steep scree slopes, culminating in a breathtaking sunrise at the summit. After celebrating this incredible achievement, hikers will begin their descent to Mweka Camp, where they will spend their final night on the mountain.

Day 8: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate
The descent continues through lush rainforest, offering a stark contrast to the alpine terrain experienced during the ascent. Upon reaching Mweka Gate, hikers will receive their summit certificates before bidding farewell to Mount Kilimanjaro. Our team will transfer hikers back to Moshi, where they can celebrate their accomplishment and reflect on their unforgettable journey.
