Day One: Arrival

Your guide will collect you up at the airport and welcome you to Tanzania before informing you on your 8-day birding and wildlife safari. You will continue your journey to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you will take a city tour of Arusha, seeing various locations such as the local market, museum, art and craft shops, and interacting with locals to learn about their way of life. You will be driven back to the hotel for supper and an overnight stay. Accommodation: Kiboko Lodge. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Day 2 - Arusha National Park

Breakfast will be given at the resort, followed by a drive to Arusha National Park, which serves as the starting point for many expeditions around northern Tanzania. During your tour to the national park, you will observe zebras, buffaloes, gazelles, black and white colobus monkeys, and a variety of bird species. Look for a variety of birds in Arusha National Park, including Verreaux's Eagle, Martial Eagle, Augur's Hawk-Eagle, Egyptian Goose, Augur Buzzard, Greater Flamingo, Hadeda Ibis, Helmeted Guineafowl, and Silvery-cheeked Hornbill, among many others. Day 3: Drive to Tarangire National Park; Walking Safari

You will begin your day with breakfast at your hotel in Arusha before departing for Tarangire National Park. You will go on an en route game drive to your lodge, where you will have lunch. Tarangire National Park is home to approximately 500 bird species, spread across wide savannah plains interspersed with huge baobab trees. Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. A walking safari in Tarangire National Park allows you to get up close and personal with nature and creatures such as giraffes and zebras, among others. Tarangire National Park is home to a variety of bird species, including Little Swift, Kori Bustards, Gray Crowned Cranes, Red-knobbed Coots, and Small Buttonquails are among the many species designated as vulnerable by the ICUN. Day 4: Birding and Game Safari in Tarangire National Park

As the sun rises, head out for a birding trip in Tarangire National Park. Look for the Yellow-necked Spurfowl, Northern Pied Babbler, Woodland Kingfisher, Pygmy Batis, White Crowned Shrike, Red-billed Hornbill, African Marsh Harrier, Ashy Starling, and Black-Headed Heron, among many others. Elephants, giraffes, antelopes, zebras, cheetahs, buffalos, and a variety of bird species may all be seen grazing and roaming around the location. Your guide will then transport you back to your lodge for lunch, which you may enjoy at your leisure. A night wildlife drive in Tarangire National Park allows you to witness nocturnal animals and birds. Day 5: Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Cultural Bomas

Breakfast will be served before departing from Tarangire National Park's lodge. You will continue your journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will visit your lodge for lunch before descending into the crater. Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, sometimes known as the Garden of Eden by many visitors. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to approximately 500 bird species and more than 25,000 mammals. Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. Relax in the resort and then head to the Cultural Bomas for an unforgettable cultural experience. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 6: Birding and Game Safari in Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast at the lodge, you shall drive to the Crater rim with magnificent views, before descending it enjoying an opportunity to see elephants, lions, buffalos, zebras, among so many others. Thereafter head to the crater a bird’s haven for birdlife. Look out for bird species like the Secretary Bird, Gray Crowned Cranes, Kori Bustards, Fischer’s Sparrow Lark, Tawny Eagle, Lesser Spatted Eagle, Brown Snake-Eagle, Gabar Goshawk, Lapped-faced Vulture, White-headed Vulture, among so many others. The Ngorongoro crater is known for its large concentration of wildlife species as well as for having breathtaking scenery where wildlife species such as elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, buffalos, hippos, gazelles, antelopes, wildebeests, hartebeests, hyenas, impalas, elands, dik dik, kudu, Oryx, among others, travel freely. You will also enjoy spotting flamingos along the shores of Lake Magadi, which is located in the crater and is a popular bird watching spot. Day 7: Walking Safari in Ngorongoro

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the lodge before embarking on a walking safari across Ngorongoro Crater in search of bird species that you may have missed previously. You will also have the opportunity to get up close and personal with a variety of animals in the crater. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 8: Departure
